Quilting Classes
Intermediate Quilting
Tammy Keith, Instructor
Monday evenings 6:00 - 9:00pm

Tuesday afternoons 1:30 - 4:30pm

Start Anytime!
One or two blocks will be presented
each week. Tammy will share her secrets
for achieving perfectly squared blocks.
Some experience with a rotary cutter and
machine piecing is required. This class
will continue as long as there is interest.

Introduction to Quilt Piecing

Bring a T-shirt and we will show you how to
apply an appliqué using your sewing machine.
Prism Needle Box -- June 11
This is an easy-to-do pyramid box. A pattern
and pre-cut mat kit is required but several
designs are available to choose from.
Patch Work Purse -- June 18
Construct this simple but elegant patch work
pieced purse. Pattern required.
Scented Cup Coasters -- June 25
Turn squares of linen into cinnamon & spice filled
mats for warming cups of hot beverages.
Kits will be available for these classes.

Table Runner -- July 9
Make this popular triangle-insert table insert
from your favorite Christmas fabric.
Christmas Banner -- July 16
Using an original pattern created by Tammy,
sew a banner to match your table runner.
Heart Ornament -- July 23
Sew strips of fabric and weave them into a
traditional Swedish heart ornament for your
Christmas tree.
Crazy Quilt Stocking -- July 30
Create a uniquely you Christmas stocking using
pieces of fabric and lace.
Kits will be available for these classes.

will be evaluated and a project planned so that you

Block of the Month
The May block is ready for you to pick up and the chosen fabrics are beautiful!
Each month Tammy chooses a block from the “Block-A-Day Calendar” and cuts the
pieces for you. All you need to do is stitch! You choose between batik and a
floral palate. At the end of the year we will have a ‘quilt setting’ party.

DAKOTA
DESIGN SOLUTIONS
CLASS #2
Thursday, July 17
10:30am - 2:30pm
For all of you interested in expanding your embroidery capabilities or just, possibly,
interested in adding machine embroidery to your sewing projects, we have asked Dakota’s
educator to spend a day with us.
For a $50 fee you will get four hours of instruction and practice using their laptop
computer (one per student) to size, rotate, add lettering, mirror and combine designs.
They will use Dakota software but the principles can be applied to any program.
You will leave with $150 in FREE designs and coupons. Special prices will be available
on other programs and designs. YOU CANNOT LOSE!
If you took the Dakota workshop last year, you know what a great experience it is. This
workshop will include new techniques and new designs.
