Verna's Sewing Center is Yamhill County's exclusive retailer of Husqvarna Viking products and Sylvia brand sewing room furniture. Our mission is to sell the very best sewing products and assist our customers with their use.

We are staffed with experienced, knowledgeable professionals including our service technician Brad and owner/teacher Verna.

Quilting, sewing, machine embroidery and fiber arts classes are offered for children, teens and adults. Our classroom is equipped with current models of sewing machines. Students do not need to bring their own.

We Accept: Cash, Check, VISA, Master Card.
Layaway and Viking financing are available.

Owner and Founder, Verna Van Calcar, brings to Verna's Sewing Center 20 years of classroom experience teaching both Home Economics and Adult Education classes. A 40 year resident of Yamhill County she knows McMinnville and surrounding community well. Verna's mission is to provide a local outlet for sewing supplies, equipment and instruction with a friendly, honest and helpful environment. A great effort is made to provide classes and workshops that meet the needs of her customers."We don't want anyone to purchase a sewing machine from us and not use it because s/he doesn't know how."
